El prestigioso instituto dio a conocer el listado completo de películas nominadas para la 90na entrega de premios a lo mejor de la industria norteamericana.
Como todos los años, la Academia de Cine de Hollywood dio a conocer el listado completo de nominados para la 90na entrega de los premios Oscar.
De todo el listado, La forma del agua, del mexicano Guillermo del Torose ha transformado en una clara favorita al obtener nominaciones en 13 categorías.
Por su parte, la bélica Dunkerque, del británico Christopher Nolan, consiguió ocho candidaturas, seguida por la cinta independiente Tres Anuncios para un crimen, con siete nominaciones.

La Hora más Oscura, un filme político centrado en la figura de Winston Churchill, obtuvo seis nominaciones, las mismas que el drama El Hilo Fantasma, que supone la despedida de Daniel Day-Lewis del cine.
Además, Blade Runner 2049 se llevó cinco candidaturas, todas de carácter técnico, mientras que Lady Bird, de Greta Gerwig, opta también a cinco nominaciones.
